Frank O'Brien, Jr.

A dynamic and soulful singer/songwriter, Frank is just now re-emerging into the folk scene after taking an 8-year hiatus to focus on songwriting, teaching and fatherhood. In 2001, he was one of seven finalists chosen from over 1,000 entrants in the Telluride Bluegrass Festival Songwriting Competition, and was also a semi-finalist in the Great American Songwriting contest. Frank’s songwriting and top-notch guitar skills take the listener through the gamut of emotions as he weaves a vivid tapestry of bittersweet and often funny human experience.
