Porter Creek

Porter Creek has been playing folk and bluegrass music together since spring 2007. Jim Crandall on rhythm guitar and lead vocals, moved to Whitefish in 2002 from the east coast where he performed in several local bands. Steve McCluskey, a local guitarist and singer has been playing traditional acoustic music for many years. Vicki Bodfish, fiddle, guitar and vocals played with the Lang Creek Bluegrass band and The Flathead Lady Fiddlers. Chad Fadely, mandolin and bouzouki, is a current member of the LeftOver Biscuits, Pinegrass and the Acousticals. Influences include Bob Dylan, Norman Blake, Kate Wolfe and Gillian Welch.
