FNF 2012 Performing Artists
First Night® Flathead's contracted artists are paid a fee for their performances. These fees constitute the major portion of our budget as supporting each community's local artistic talent for the enrichment and enjoyment of the attending audience is a major goal of First Night® USA's mission.
First Night® Flathead is very pleased to present this year's attending audience with a wide range of musical styles and ensembles presented by our very talented local artists. Whatever your favorite kind of music or entertainment, you are sure to find it at First Night!

Tra le Gael is a local favorite that plays Celtic music ranging from sweet harmonies to driving, energetic reels. The group features Karin Hilding on penny whistle and flute, Gary Morris on mandolin and guitar, Barbara Calm on hammered dulcimer and Katy Meyers on Celtic folk harp. The variety of their arrangements, from traditional to contemporar, fits many a festive occasion.
