FNF 2012 Performing Artists
First Night® Flathead's contracted artists are paid a fee for their performances. These fees constitute the major portion of our budget as supporting each community's local artistic talent for the enrichment and enjoyment of the attending audience is a major goal of First Night® USA's mission.
First Night® Flathead is very pleased to present this year's attending audience with a wide range of musical styles and ensembles presented by our very talented local artists. Whatever your favorite kind of music or entertainment, you are sure to find it at First Night!

Tropical Montana Marimba Ensemble was voted the best band of the Flathead in 2009, playing music that brightens the spirit and lightens the feet. Our members are Bill Boggs, Dave Streeter, Barbara Calm, Sarah Burdick, Gary Morris, Cissy Booth, Jason Foy, Bente Grinde and Helen Pilling. The music has its roots in the Shona tribe of Zimbabwe, with a Pacific Northwest flavor combining traditional with original tunes.
