FNF 2012 Performing Artists
First Night® Flathead's contracted artists are paid a fee for their performances. These fees constitute the major portion of our budget as supporting each community's local artistic talent for the enrichment and enjoyment of the attending audience is a major goal of First Night® USA's mission.
First Night® Flathead is very pleased to present this year's attending audience with a wide range of musical styles and ensembles presented by our very talented local artists. Whatever your favorite kind of music or entertainment, you are sure to find it at First Night!

Maw Brothers, Wyatt and Jesse, have fiddled their way to the top spot in fiddle contests from Montana to Nashville including first place wins at the National Old Time Fiddle Contest. Wyatt and Jesse play fiddle, guitar, and mandolin accompanied by their dad, Steve, and have performed for sold-out audiences at First Night Flathead since 2003. Their debut album titled "Done Gone" features old time fiddle music with swing and jazz. They recorded it in Austin, Texas and were accompanied by nationally known musicians who have played with Vince Gill, Mark O'Conner, and Johnny Gimble.
