FNF 2012 Performing Artists
First Night® Flathead's contracted artists are paid a fee for their performances. These fees constitute the major portion of our budget as supporting each community's local artistic talent for the enrichment and enjoyment of the attending audience is a major goal of First Night® USA's mission.
First Night® Flathead is very pleased to present this year's attending audience with a wide range of musical styles and ensembles presented by our very talented local artists. Whatever your favorite kind of music or entertainment, you are sure to find it at First Night!

Steve Eckels presents an entirely new repertoire of original pop-style guitar instrumentals that combine his classical training and background in American folk music with the style of his baby boomer teenage years. As a published author, he specializes in writing music for recreational guitarists. Eckels is the guitar instructor at Flathead High School and an active liturgical guitarist.
