FNF 2012 Performing Artists
First Night® Flathead's contracted artists are paid a fee for their performances. These fees constitute the major portion of our budget as supporting each community's local artistic talent for the enrichment and enjoyment of the attending audience is a major goal of First Night® USA's mission.
First Night® Flathead is very pleased to present this year's attending audience with a wide range of musical styles and ensembles presented by our very talented local artists. Whatever your favorite kind of music or entertainment, you are sure to find it at First Night!

Cakes & Ale
Connie Rudie and Sharon and Bill Rossiter, with fiddle, guitar, banjo, gutbucket bass and vocals form Cakes & Ale. All seasoned performers (curry, a little cilantro, a dash of Everclear), they feature ragtime, western swing, hoedown, and old-timey string band tunes. Connie and Bill are veterans of, or refugees from, many Montana musical groups. Sharon and Bill have been on the road for many a year as “Note Worthy” doing concerts throughout the Northwest. Watch also for an appearance by a mystery guest. Unfortunately, for the last three years the mother ship beamed him up before the performance.
