First Night Flathead 2010 Venues

      First Night® Flathead venues are stores and businesses that host the artistic performances throughout New Year’s Eve. Their participation is the key to success of First Night. They are staffed by their regular employees who sell their products and services during the evening to audience members.

      Our venues are served by FNF Volunteers at the door verifying that the incoming audience has admission buttons and selling buttons to those who wish them, assisting the business staffs in monitoring the audience for full house capacity, and are thoroughly versed in all emergency response procedures. In its 11-year history, First Night Flathead has never had any crowd problems, emergency events or arrests, or a single downtown DUI infraction in its 11-year history.

      FNF performances consist of 45 minute sets beginning at 7:00 pm, followed by a 15 minute break to change artists, then the next performance begins on the hour. Venues complete their performance programs at different times, with all venues finished by 11:45 pm except the “Countdown to Midnight” Finale in the Red Lion Hotel Ballroom.

      This year we are delighted to welcome Columbia Falls to the performance schedule of First Night Flathead. This sister community will be offering several performances in addition to their own "Countdown to Midnight" Finale.
